Raised on Northeast bluegrass festivals, Tim FitzPatrick learned the music the way many of the best do—by listening closely, singing along, and jumping into any jam that would have him. Over the years he has become a versatile New England performer, equally at home in Bluegrass, Old‑Time, Irish, Folk, and Classic Country traditions.
Tim recorded two albums with the Hi‑Tone Ramblers (Inner Space and Bedbug Blues), contributed vocals to Tracy O’Connell’s Durango Red, and played guitar on Alan Kauffman and Don Stratton’s All in Good Time.
He has also taught at Bluegrass University (Jenny Brook Bluegrass Festival) and led jams at Music Camps North.
Tim now performs with the Bottom Dollars, Roll On Buddies, and anyone else who’ll invite him on stage. In any setting, listeners appreciate his powerful singing and solid rhythm guitar playing. Some even tolerate his sense of humor.
